Provides strategies for dating and choosing a partner. Singles and couples are encouraged to explore areas of compatibility and respect areas in which they differ.
Men & Women in Relationships
Examines how broader socio-cultural ideas and differential parenting styles of our parents influence our ideas about gender role expectations and the effect this has on our interactions in relationships. It helps individuals and couples examine their own experiences and develop balanced & healthy definitions and expectations for themselves and their partners.
TLC: Talking & Listening With Care
Provides an overview of the power of words, different kinds of talking and listening, gender differences in communication and African American communication styles. Introduces the TLC 3 step program to help individuals & couples learn to talk and listen in ways that respect each other and resolve conflict effectively.
